The Next Meeting will take place on TUESDAY, December 12, 2023 at 7:30pm at
Trinity Episcopal church in Allendale NJ. It will be the COMMUNITY ARTS ASSOCIATION HOLIDAY PARTY. Join your fellow members in celebrating the Holiday Season. This is a “POT-LUCK” reception. Please bring in your special side dishes ~ savory and sweet ~ to enhance our party table. Apple Cider, Coffee and Tea will be provided.

This meeting will feature our annual Member Artwork Critique conducted by renowned artist, Philip Smallwood. Bring any art that you would like to have evaluated, but we especially encourage a work-in-progress that is giving you difficulty. Discussing how to solve problems can be an educational opportunity for all of the artists present.

Be sure to bring a painting for the contest. Since our January and February meetings are ZOOM meetings, the top three winning paintings will be the chosen at this meeting. The winning paintings will be featured on our website in December, January and February.

Welcome to the beginning of a new Community Arts Association year. Our 1st meeting is September 12th at 7:30 pm in the community room of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Allendale, NJ.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Board. A sign-up sheet for the “Refreshments” for each meeting will be handed around at this first meeting. Two people are requested to sign up.

Spring brings many wonderful opportunities for all CAA members! There's the 2023 Members' Art Exhibit, our annual NYC trip to the American Watercolor Society's show at the Salmagundi, and our special Nature Journaling Workshop. Please send in your forms asap to participate in these activities!

Our next CAA meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 13 at Trinity Church, 55 George St.

Allendale, NJ at 7:30 PM. This meeting will be our Holiday party. Please check out the flyer attached to the email which brought you this newsletter for information about the party.

During our December meeting we will have three Artist of the Month winners. Since we have no inperson meetings in January and February, the board decided to choose three winners from the works brought to the December meeting/holiday party. Three chances to be selected Artist of the Month!!!

We encourage you all to bring something to the meeting.
